THERMAL DEBURRING
Thermal Deburring (Thermal Energy Machining – TEM) is an economical and beneficial method for deburring a wide range of products, including those for hydraulic industry and those with large areas of burrs or sharp, processed surfaces.
The parts to be thermally deburred are sealed in a chamber under pressure. The pressure consists of a mix of oxygen and natural gas. The gas is ignited via an electrical spark plug and at the moment of explosion, sharp edges and corners are burned off without damaging the product.
Thermal deburring can be carried out on all types of materials such as steel, casted and grey iron, stainless steel and aluminium.
Items with a diameter of max. Ø320 mm and a height of max. 300 mm can be thermally deburred. We can handle even larger items through our sub-contractors.
